I would like to thank each of you for your support during the campaign over the last few months. With only fond memories of the experience, I have especially enjoyed getting to meet so many of you and so many of my fellow Houstonians.

Despite not having the title given to the person receiving the most votes, I will continue to do what I have always done -- help my City continue to improve. And I call on my colleagues and you to continue to do the same.
